My Granddad Patrick (Paddy) Carroll.
He was A wonderful man, would do anything for his family. He was married to the Beautiful Mary Carroll and they had 6 daughters, 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
My grandad broke his hip in 2006 when he had a fall and had to get a replacement. He was heartbroken when my Nanny Mary passed away. They were childhood sweethearts.
My Granddad has a very soft spot for me and my cousin Davie and was always amazed by us. He Loved listening about out education and loved here me sing, His favourite song that i sung was HERO by Mariah Carey and always asked me to sing it at his funeral, As I was so close to him and my nanny this was not possible as i was very upset. So the CD of Hero was played in the Church.
I think about him and my nanny every day and I no that my nanny no's that he was not able to live without her.
He died 11 months later of Cancer in the Neck.
Granddad, Hope ur looking after me Nanny, I love ya's so much.

Granddad that women yesterday told me about u.
it was great to hear from you, I no that I shouldn't cry but I am just broken hearted over the whole thing.
She was right wen she said You were a sharp man and I was the Apple of your eye, Don't tell the rest of them, They will all go mad :)

Granddad,
Member how I always Use to call you Aul fella and My mam and my nanny use to give out to me but u just laughed and told me not to mind them.
I will never forget all them chats we had on a sunday wen we went on the drive just u and me. We talked about everything and anything.
Nanny has passed away at this stage and you would tell me how u met her and how u fell in love with her.
I miss that sooooo much. I no u are watching over me and that you always love me but just wish i could see u and hear u give out to me for supporting United now haha

The Cure
God took a look around his garden and found an empty place

Gods garden must be beautiful for he only picks the best
God knows that you were tired and a cure was not to be
so he closed your weary eyelids and whispered come to me
with tearful eyes I watched you and saw you slip away
although I loved you dearly I knew you could not stay
it broke my heart to lose you but you never went alone
part of me went with you on that day
God had called you home
if you have a granddad cherish him with care
cause you will never feel a heartache until you see his vacant chair
